Job summary

REV Renewables in Houston seeks a senior leader to own the Energy Management Systems platform, a hybrid leadership/IC role balancing architecture, data engineering, and operations. You will guide cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, compliant systems for trading and asset management.

You will own core components—trade capture, valuation, settlements, and position management—while shaping security, governance, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years owning core platform and ETRM components with quality controls.
• Strong Python background; time series data handling; API development.
• Production systems ownership; security, access controls, and compliance.
• Ability to translate front-office needs to IT/infrastructure teams.
• Ownership mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and strong communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ETRM platform end-to-end, balancing architecture, data engineering, and operations.
• Mentor the Quant and Systems Developer; manage backlog and code quality.
• Own trade capture, valuation, settlements, and risk analytics components.
• Oversee governance, security, incident response, and business continuity.
• Collaborate with front office, IT, and trading to align platform roadmaps.
