Job summary

Department of Enterprise Services (DES) in Washington state seeks a Measurement and Verification (M&V) Specialist to support ESPC projects. The role partners with Energy Engineers to validate M&V plans and post-construction savings, ensuring agencies meet energy targets and sustainability goals.

The position is hybrid with some office visits to project sites. Requires CMVP/EIT/EMIT and 6+ years of relevant energy engineering experience, PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in CMVP, EIT, or EMIT within 6 months.
• Six years of related experience or education in engineering, energy, or environmental sciences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and refine M&V plans for ESPC projects.
• Ensure compliance with IPMVP standards in energy plans.
• Evaluate energy calculations and validate energy savings.
• Advise on KPIs, timing, and availability payments in EaaS.
• Review commissioning reports and M&V plans for correct savings.
