Zusammenfassung

FirstEnergy is seeking an Economic Load Forecasting Analyst to support financial forecasting and reporting within the Strategy organization. The role involves forecasting for regulated distribution and transmission and coordinating with FirstEnergy units on consolidated results.

The position reports to the Director of Load Forecasting and may be based at Akron, OH; Greensburg, PA; or Reading, PA, with compensation determined by qualifications and experience. It is an onsite role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• 4-8 years' relevant work experience in data analysis, reporting and forecasting, or financial statement analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with programming languages (Python, R, SQL) is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Desire to learn and grow; ability to deliver quality work on deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Support the customer, energy and revenue forecast processes.
• Represent energy load forecasts in rate proceedings and regulatory filings as needed.
• Streamline forecasting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Use data mining and analytical tools to enhance forecast processes and analyses.
• Evaluate forecast input data for accuracy, detecting trends and outliers.
• Coordinate periodic actual results and forecasting data reporting and schedules.
• Provide timely, accurate information and reporting to stakeholders.
• Develop working relationships with employees at all levels of FirstEnergy.
