Job summary

Liberty Mutual Investments seeks a Senior Analyst or Associate to join the Energy & Infrastructure team in Boston. You will manage investment diligence from start to finish, analyze opportunities, and present recommendations to the investment committee, contributing to the firm’s growth in the infrastructure landscape.

You’ll screen opportunities, structure negotiations, monitor existing investments, and build relationships with investment professionals and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of experience in energy and infrastructure investment banking, consulting, or investing.
• Ability to analyze transaction risks and value-creation opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing consistent work.
• Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Energy & Infrastructure team, investing in various infrastructure opportunities.
• Manage investment diligence from start to finish, analyzing and recommending investments.
• Screen opportunities and communicate key investment highlights.
• Create investment committee materials and present recommendations.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating investment terms.
• Monitor existing investments and maintain partner relationships.
• Engage with external stakeholders to support origination goals.
• Collaborate with other teams to execute transactions.
