Job summary

Morgan Stanley in New York is seeking a Global Capital Markets Associate in the Project, Commodity, and Infrastructure Finance group (PCIF). You will structure and arrange holistic financing solutions for power, energy transition, and infrastructure clients in the US and abroad, and lead deal execution.

The role requires 2+ years in capital markets or investment banking, a Bachelor's degree, strong modeling and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CA and/or CFA designation would be an asset
• Proven ability to coordinate with internal and external teams to meet transaction deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong client and interpersonal skills
• Highly quantitative with excellent modeling skills
• Interest in power, energy/energy transition, and infrastructure
• Analytical, technically oriented, curious, and able to multitask
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Series licenses or must obtain

Responsibilities

• Structuring and arranging holistic financing solutions including advisory, debt, equity, rates, and commodities
• Performing financial modeling and analysis of power, energy/energy transition, and infrastructure projects
• Analyzing current news, trends and regulatory events influencing global power, energy/energy transition, and infrastructure markets
• Managing all aspects of deal execution and guiding clients through structuring, marketing and negotiation
