Job summary

Emerson’s Portfolio Business Unit within NI seeks a business and technical leader to expand our Energy footprint in the Americas. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires developing and executing go-to-market strategies, building pipelines, and collaborating with marketing, sales, technical, and partner teams.

You will influence product directions based on customer needs and market trends, traveling 30-40% and representing NI with confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, product management, and/or market development.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, stakeholder management.
• Technical fluency with NI technology, including system architecture and test & measurement strategies.
• Willingness to travel 30–40%.
• U.S. Persons only.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and growth plan for Energy business in the Americas.
• Drive cross-functional teams to build a Go-to-Market strategy with action-oriented plans.
• Become a business and technology leader with key accounts and develop customer relationships.
• Champion customer needs in product features, requirements, and market trends.
• Evangelize strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
