Job summary

State of Minnesota is seeking a Program Administrator to support grant administration, progress tracking, and reporting for state and federal energy programs. The role involves managing relationships, troubleshooting, and ensuring programs align with funding requirements.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with up to 50% telework, primarily located at the Golden Rule Building in St. Paul, with opportunity for telework outside Minnesota under certain conditions.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience analyzing grants and exercising judgment in grant management.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration/Public Policy/Related field may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for 18 months of experience.
• Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, monitoring, and tracking program performance.
• Experience managing projects and identifying external funding opportunities.
• Experience leading meetings, facilitating workgroups, and coordinating stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Support grant administration, progress tracking, and reporting for state and federal energy programs.
• Manage key relationships, troubleshoot challenges, and collaborate with partners to ensure programs are implemented per funding requirements.
• Lead and coordinate activities for programs like Training for Residential Energy Contractors, Formula Grant, Energy Auditor Training Grant, Home Energy Rebates.
