Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, is seeking a Project Controller to oversee project finances from bid to close-out. You will coordinate with Operations, Accounting and Project Management to ensure current, auditable cost data and timely invoicing.

Responsibilities include tracking spend, maintaining job cost records in Spectrum and EcoSys, and supporting forecasts and margins with project teams. A detail‑oriented, independent communicator is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, construction management or related field with equivalent experience
• 2+ years in project controls, project accounting, or cost engineering
• Experience with job costing concepts like WIP and revenue recognition
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

• Track project cost and spend across all jobs; compare to budget and forecast
• Code, process and reconcile subcontractor invoices for accuracy
• Prepare intercompany invoicing and support monthly cost forecasting and reporting
• Assist with change orders, schedule tracking and project administration tasks
