Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. seeks a detail-oriented analyst to join the Energy Efficiency Department on the Reporting team.

The role focuses on compiling and reporting data across multi-state portfolios, supporting the Energy Efficiency Tracking and Reporting system, and analyzing performance against regulatory plans and benchmarks. You will develop regulatory filings and management reports, highlight program trends, and provide insights for portfolio optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related discipline with 4+ years (Business Analyst) or 7+ years (Advanced/Senior) experience.
• Experience in utility, energy efficiency, demand response, or regulated industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely regulatory and management reports per state, federal, and company requirements.
• Analyze program performance and compliance against plans and benchmarks.
• Support regulatory filings and recommend program changes to maintain compliance.
• Reconcile and validate Energy Efficiency Tracking and Reporting System data.
• Investigate data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Develop expertise in energy efficiency program data, technologies, and processes.
