Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Michigan is seeking an Energy Educator to lead daily business energy consultations and pre-inspections under the Energy program. You will assess energy usage, interface with databases, and ensure high customer satisfaction while installing energy-saving measures.

You will travel to client sites, input data on a handheld device, educate customers on cost-saving practices, and collaborate with installers and program partners to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Training in weatherization and/or energy efficiency principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in an urban setting with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Exercises good judgment and maintains safety at all times.
• Able to lead, motivate, be diplomatic, and build positive rapport with customers.
• Able to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business energy assessments and inspections at client sites.
• Input energy saving measures and findings into handheld devices and databases.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory daily.
• Educate customers on energy conservation and simple no-cost improvements.
• Coordinate with project partners and installers to meet goals.
