Energy Efficiency Account Manager (Remote in Milwaukee, WI)

We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Account Manager 1 (Remote) in the greater Milwaukee, WI area to join our Energy Efficiency Programs team. As the Trade Ally Manager, you will impact energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through work with North American Program Administrators and other leaders. This role offers a unique market opportunity aligned with Energy Solutions' mission-driven approach, ideal for someone eager to shape the nation's energy future.

This position is remote, but applicants must reside within 50 miles of Milwaukee, WI, Madison, WI, or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Supporting development, enhancement, and maintenance of relationships with HVAC, water heating, heat pump manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and commercial foodservice dealers.
  2. Travel to trade ally/market actor locations to promote program performance, build rapport, and provide support.
  3. Acting as a conduit between program leads and Outreach and Trade Ally Team (OTAT).
  4. Tracking and reporting market activity to predict trends.
  5. Supporting outreach for new and existing programs.
  6. Analyzing participation statistics, market data, and regulatory activity.
  7. Developing trade ally and market actor relationships and best practice documentation.
  8. Utilizing public data resources relevant to strategic interests.
  9. Supporting distributors and contractors with training and events.
  10. Assisting market actors with program participation and rebate claims.
  11. Participating in meetings and planning sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree or 2 years of related experience with a degree, or 4 years of related experience without a degree.
  2. Willingness to travel locally 30-40%.
  3. Experience with Energy Efficiency and building relationships with market actors.
  4. Familiarity with HVAC, Water Heating, and commercial foodservice sectors.
  5. Professional interaction skills, business acumen, and organizational abilities.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Compensation ranges from $69,000 to $79,000 annually, commensurate with experience, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
