Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or administrative support experience (construction industry preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, general ledger, and month-end close.
• Ability to communicate reconciliation findings clearly to staff and leads.
• Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts and related divisions.
• Collaborate with functional leads across the division to ensure transaction completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage the preparation of journal entries.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify trends and provide variance insights.
• Process invoices accurately and timely.
• Draft and maintain accounting memos documenting treatments and reconciliations.
• Develop, document, and maintain SOPs to streamline workflows and ensure consistency.
• Review credit card transactions for proper coding according to policy.
• Manage deposits, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, AR, accruals, and reserves.
• Respond to internal inquiries and participate in ad hoc financial analyses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
