Job summary

Heritage FS, Inc in Peotone, IL is seeking a delivery driver for energy operations. The role involves building and delivering fuel tanks, delivering refined fuels and lubricants, and servicing tanks and pumps at customer locations.

Requires a valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement, ability to travel, and strong communication and customer service skills; willingness to work non-standard hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid CDL license with Hazmat endorsement, be insurable to operate the required vehicle, and have the ability to travel independently.
• Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and delivers fuel storage tanks per the salesmen request.
• Repairs pumps and tanks at customer locations.
• Drives truck to deliver refined fuel to customers’ homes or places of business.
• Drives truck to deliver lubricants to customers’ homes or places of business.
• Handles complaints promptly and reports them to your supervisor.
• Obtains customer signatures on receipt for pickup or delivery when required.
• Completes regular activity reports.
• Maintains company equipment according to company standards and performs routine maintenance on the equipment.
• Adheres to the uniform policy and maintains the appropriate professional image.
