Job summary

Noblis is seeking a DoW Energy Data Analyst in Reston, VA to support federal government partners on energy and sustainability initiatives. You will analyze energy use, resilience, policy development, and technology reviews for the Office of the Secretary of War, engaging in strategy development and policy analysis.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong data analytics using PowerBI/Excel/Tableau, and U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in energy policy or program analysis.
• Experience presenting to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data in support of DoW energy initiatives and provide evidence-based support for new energy initiatives.
• Support Congressional reports, programming and budgeting activities, and wargaming with data collection and analysis.
• Support energy innovation activities across multiple existing efforts.
• Provide options for better data collection, including automated collection.
• Provide program analysis to justify policy and investment activities.
• Assist with energy supportability analyses and training staff.
• Provide analysis supporting Energy KPP and JCIDS documentation.
• Review ICDs, CDDs, and lifecycle documentation for alignment with energy requirements.
• Assess energy supportability, risk, and logistics across defense programs.
• Support development and implementation of DoW policy and acquisition decisions related to Operational Energy.
• Provide systems engineering and analytical support to identify requirements and life cycle risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve system readiness and life cycle supportability.
