Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking graduates for a seven-month Commodity Associate Program in Houston. The program includes four weeks of training followed by two rotations across energy sectors, with the goal of transitioning into a permanent price reporting role.

You will gain exposure to Oil, Power, Natural Gas, LNG, Coal, and more, and will use AI-enabled tools to enhance research and workflow efficiency. Post-program opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree completion by Feb 2027 for March intake or Aug 2027 for September intake.
• Postgraduate candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication for a global audience.
• Curiosity about energy, commodities, and financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor commodity and energy markets to identify key trends and drivers.
• Gather, validate, and analyze market intelligence from industry participants.
• Support the creation of market reports, news content, and pricing commentary.
• Contribute to the price assessment process using established methodologies.
