Job summary

The Environmental Center at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for the Temporary Energy and Climate Justice Assistant role to plan and support campus energy and climate justice campaigns, build workshops, and coordinate with on- and off-campus partners. We seek knowledge of policy and advocacy, content design, and community organizing; data analysis is a plus.

A driver's license and occasional night work may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills and ability to support campaigns.
• Experience with community organizing and advocacy work.
• Knowledge of policy and advocacy at the state/local level is a plus.
• Ability to design content and analyze data for campaigns.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in programs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Climate Action team with energy and climate campaign efforts.
• Ensuring contract deliverables are met while supporting community initiatives.
• Supporting students with energy and climate justice efforts.
