Job summary

350PDX seeks a visionary Development Manager to lead its contributed income strategy in service of bold climate action. This part-time, exempt role owns the development function day-to-day, builds systems, and executes an ambitious plan in partnership with the Managing Director.

You will cultivate donor relationships, manage a CRM-driven pipeline, and grow a justice-centered program with sustainability as a core goal.

Qualifications

• 2+ years nonprofit development experience required.
• 3-5 years preferred for candidates with program-building experience.
• Experience managing donor relationships across giving levels.
• Familiarity with Donor Advised Funds and related strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Proficiency with CRM or donor databases (Salesforce, Salsa, EveryAction).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute annual development plan with revenue goals.
• Assess donor relationships and CRM data; prioritize work accordingly.
• Establish scalable development processes, templates, and workflows.
• Track metrics and report progress to leadership and board.
• Develop and execute annual giving plans and major donor activities.
• Lead donor events and communications; train volunteers as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to align fundraising with climate justice mission.
