Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks an Energy Center Operator I. This entry-level position focuses on learning operations for boiler, HVAC and refrigeration systems, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

This position will also provide an opportunity to learn proper use of basic tools and equipment necessary to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems. Utilizes exceptional customer service and communication skills. The purpose of this position is to ensure a safe working environment and support an exceptional Environment of Care for Mercy.

Minimum Required Qualifications Education: High School, equivalent, or 1 year direct relevant experience
Licensure:
Experience: This is an entry level position requiring basic knowledge of boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical distribution, and control system maintenance and operation.
Certification/Registration: EPA approved Universal Certification for handling Refrigerants
Other Skills And Knowledge:
Education: Preferred Qualifications 2 or more year of training in a Technical or Vocational School
Licensure: Boiler, HVAC, or Refrigeration
Experience: 1 or more years working as a maintenance technician in a healthcare, educational, or industrial setting.
