Job Title

Energy and Operations Analyst

Job Description Summary

The Energy Consumption Data Analyst will be responsible for monitoring energy consumption data provided by external suppliers to identify opportunities for energy savings. The energy saving opportunities will then need to be communicated to local site teams and tracked for implementation. Additionally, the analyst will track the implementation and completion of recommendations sent via work orders to local site teams. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

About the Role:

  • Continuously track energy consumption from external suppliers to identify trends, anomalies, and savings opportunities.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to develop actionable recommendations for improving energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with local teams to present energy-saving opportunities, including ROI and implementation plans.
  • Maintain a tracker for energy-saving initiatives and monitor their execution and impact.
  • Ensure timely action and completion of energy optimization recommendations issued via third-party systems.
  • Create detailed reports on energy usage and savings, while ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years in energy data analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of operating effectively in a 24/7 operational setting.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently or in a team.
