Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to support short-term procurement strategies, SOX control narratives, and regulatory reporting. You will prepare work papers and reports for filings and rate cases, evaluate capacity holdings, and handle invoice reconciliations.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree in energy/finance-related fields, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience per guidelines.
• 0–2 years of experience in business administrative duties or related field.
• Intermediate Excel skills; basic MS Office tools (Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SOX control narratives and basic natural gas markets.

Responsibilities

• Support short-term procurement strategies and capacity evaluations.
• Prepare work papers and reports for regulatory filings and rate cases.
• Investigate data variances and propose solutions.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with 3rd party supply and transportation programs.
• Champion process improvements and ensure compliance with tariff rules.
