Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• CPA-eligible or CPA designation preferred.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office required; energy industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compile and prepare general ledger entries for fuel transactions.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations to substantiate general ledger balances.
• Maintain and reconcile fuel inventories in the appropriate system.
• Reconcile monthly statements and communicate data to Front Office for fuel cost assignment.
• Assist in regulatory filings (LPSC FAC/EAC, FERC filings).
• Adhere to Energy/Back Office accounting standards and provide quality service.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and drive improvements.
