Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Energetics Operator II – 2nd shift to support energetic production, run multiple machines, and mentor Operator I while maintaining high quality and throughput. This onsite role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor within Manufacturing and Operations, based in Penrose, CO and Pueblo, CO.

The position offers competitive pay and benefits in a high‑hazard explosive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work 2nd shift (10:30am – 9:00pm MDT, Mon–Thu).
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling and explosive safety principles.
• Ability to follow complex instructions, batch sheets, and production travelers.
• Awareness of quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
• Competence in operating mechanical or automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more production lines or machines following standard work and instructions.
• Perform in‑process inspections and document quality results.
• Assist with setups and changeovers including tooling and adjustments.
• Train and mentor Operator I employees on safe operation and standard work.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records.
