Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Aerospace or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as Manufacturing Engineer with energetic materials experience.
• Experience leading process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with automation integration and new process introduction.
• Knowledge of DoD 4145 regulations and standards for energetic materials

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for energetic materials, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve performance.
• Drive integration of new technologies and automation into existing manufacturing environments.
• Manage new process introduction activities including process qualification and production readiness reviews.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized energetic processing equipment.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs and control plans.
• Ensure compliance with DoD 4145 and other safety/regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with safety, quality, program management, and operations teams to support production goals.
• Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and production personnel.
