Job summary

Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Energetics Manufacturing Engineer IV (L4) to support energetic materials production, lead process improvements, and advance automation while upholding DoD safety and regulatory standards in a defense-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with energetic materials manufacturing, collaboration across engineering, quality, safety and operations, and strong problem-solving skills for mission-critical programs in Culpeper,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
5+ years in manufacturing engineering with energetic materials.
Experience leading process improvement projects in production.
Experience with automation and new manufacturing technologies.
Working knowledge of DoD 4145 regulations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize energetic materials manufacturing processes with safety and quality at the forefront.
Lead process improvement initiatives to boost yield and reduce costs.
Identify and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
Manage NPI activities including qualification and production readiness reviews.
Operate and troubleshoot energetic materials processing equipment.
Create and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
Ensure compliance with DoD 4145 and safety/environmental standards.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Program Management.
Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and operators.
