The Restaurant People, LLC. is seeking a friendly, attentive Server for Boatyard in Fort Lauderdale. You will greet guests, present menus, deliver meals, and ensure accurate orders while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• 5 years minimum hospitality experience.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Excellent/high energy customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cash/credit card payments.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ensures smooth operation of service standards.
• Attention to detail and presentation.
• Strong cocktail/spirit/wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Present menus and provide detailed information (daily specials, menu items).
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure all orders are accurate and well-presented.
• Take accurate food/beverage orders to enter into POS system.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean dining area.
• Collaborate with team to facilitate smooth service during peak hours.
• Set up/breakdown sections, restocking, cleaning and organizing as needed.
• Provide exceptional guest experience by being attentive, personable and professional.
• Work as a team to support fellow staff.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Process payments accurately (cash, card, etc.).
