Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is seeking an enthusiastic ski instructor to teach group and private lessons to guests of varying skill levels. The role emphasizes delivering clear technique demonstrations and maintaining a friendly, guest-focused approach on the slopes.

The instructor will follow PSIA guidelines and resort policies, promote safety, and engage with guests while contributing to a positive and energetic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work with children.
• Must be energetic, outgoing and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner.
• Customer focused; essential to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct both group and private ski lessons for guests according to PSIA and resort guidelines.
• Demonstrate and communicate proper ski techniques.
• Promote safety and act as a role model in safety policies.
• Familiarize with resort Handbook and Ski School Manual policies and procedures.
• Assist the skiing public whenever possible.
• Assist with class organization and division when possible.
• Contribute to team effort and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions.
