Job summary

Kareem's Lebanese Kitchen 2 in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking enthusiastic servers and bartenders to join our lively team. If you enjoy vibrant culture, great food, and delivering memorable guest experiences, this is the place for you.

As part of a warm, guest‑focused restaurant, you will greet guests, take and relay orders, craft beverages, and ensure smooth service from seating to check presentation. Prior full‑service or bar experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous full-service restaurant serving or bartending experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TIPS and Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Must meet Maryland legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and hospitable dining experience from start to finish.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to kitchen and bar staff.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Craft and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and flair (Bartenders).
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the Lebanese menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Process payments, handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Keep dining and bar areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout service.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth, efficient service.
