Job summary

Creative Play Centers/Adventure Clubs in Colorado Springs is seeking Program Leaders to join our energetic team. You’ll lead games, crafts, sports, STEM activities, read stories, help with homework, and create memorable experiences for children in a fun, safe environment.

Ideal for students and education majors; we offer school holidays, evenings, weekends off, paid training, and opportunities for advancement. Flexible hours during breaks and summers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete all required Colorado background checks, fingerprinting, and state clearances before employment.
• Meet all Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements for school-age childcare staff.
• Complete required orientation and ongoing professional development training.
• Be able to actively supervise children, participate in indoor and outdoor activities, lift up to 30 pounds, and accompany children on walking trips and field trips.

Responsibilities

• Lead games, sports, crafts, STEM projects, and outdoor activities.
• Read stories, help with homework, and encourage creativity.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Supervise children, indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, and daily transitions.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Help keep classrooms organized, clean, and ready for fun.
• Follow company policies and Colorado childcare licensing requirements.
