Job summary

The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center seeks a friendly Recreation & Sports Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests in the recreation and sports areas, and to document check-ins/outs accurately.

The role requires good communication, the ability to work with diverse age groups, and adherence to safety rules; CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required within the first 90 days of employment, and background checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with adults, youth and children.
• Working knowledge of general safety guidelines in a sport and/or recreation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with guests to provide an excellent experience in the program area.
• Promote hospitality so events and programming are well attended.
• Clean, support equipment, and manage inventory for the assigned program area.
