Job summary

Mathnasium Mequon seeks a motivated Instructor to help K-12 students understand and excel in math, fostering a positive, engaging learning environment at our Mequon center.

You will support students with flexible, STEM-focused tutoring, using technology to tailor learning, and promoting active participation. This role suits high school, college, and career students with an interest in math education.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for math and a passion for STEM.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make learning math fun for students
• Find joy helping K-12 students to improve their understanding of math
• Embrace the use and application of technology to facilitate custom, individualized learning plans based on each student's needs
• Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for parents & students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support that encourages professional growth
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure the success of all students
• Flexibility in learning a different style of teaching in order to best support students
