Job summary

The Little Gym of Costa Mesa is seeking energetic coaches to teach movement, gymnastics, and play to children aged 4 months to 12 years. This active coaching role involves teaching multiple back-to-back classes and creating a positive, energetic environment for kids and families.

Part-time position approximately 10–15 hours per week with evening and weekend availability. Training provided; $18–$20/hour after completion of initial training, plus opportunities for growth and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics, dance, cheer, sports, or performing arts is a plus.
• Comfortable speaking and performing in front of groups.
• Athletic, energetic, and able to stay active throughout classes.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to lift and spot children of various sizes.
• We are willing to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Teach fun, engaging classes using The Little Gym curriculum.
• Create a positive and energetic environment for children and families.
• Demonstrate skills, safely spot children, and assist students of all abilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with members.
• Maintain The Little Gym’s high standards of safety and quality.
