Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC in Cypress, Texas is seeking a energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe group classes and promote healthy lifestyles. As a Crunch Fitness staff member, you will design workouts for all levels, demonstrate proper form, and maintain high energy and member engagement.

This role requires CPR/AED certification and prior experience teaching group exercise; the successful candidate will maintain professional appearance and actively promote club programs and events

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Previous experience teaching group exercise classes to varied fitness levels.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, fitness programming, and proper technique.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage groups in a dynamic fitness environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to an exceptional member experience.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of group fitness classes in a safe, effective, and motivating manner.
• Design and deliver workouts for participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Provide modifications and progressions to ensure safety and success.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and monitor class participants for safe movement.
• Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism throughout all classes.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members and guests.
• Promote group fitness offerings, special events, and personal training programs.
• Attend required team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs.
• Assist with club events, member appreciation activities, and other initiatives as requested.
