Responsibilities

Teaches physical fitness, health education, rhythms and dance, and various sports following the district curriculum.
Demonstrates knowledge and instructional techniques appropriate for each grade level.
Maintains safety and supervises students during activities and manages equipment.
Coordinates with other PE teachers to plan a balanced program.
Instructs on basic skills, strategies, and movement concepts of games and sports.
Provides individualized/small-group instruction to meet student needs.
Maintains inventory and proper use of school-owned property.
Establishes behavioral standards to create an orderly PE environment.
Evaluates student growth in physical skills and teamwork.
Engages in professional development and district evaluation processes.
Communicates with students, parents, and colleagues to support the PE program.
Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
