The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with endorsement in Physical Education and a PEL license.

Responsibilities include delivering PE instruction, ensuring safety, and collaborating with staff to maintain a strong program.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches physical fitness, health education, rhythms and dance, and various sports following the district curriculum.
• Demonstrates knowledge and instructional techniques appropriate for each grade level.
• Maintains safety and supervises students during activities and manages equipment.
• Coordinates with other PE teachers to plan a balanced program.
• Instructs on basic skills, strategies, and movement concepts of games and sports.
• Provides individualized/small-group instruction to meet student needs.
• Maintains inventory and proper use of school-owned property.
• Establishes behavioral standards to create an orderly PE environment.
• Evaluates student growth in physical skills and teamwork.
• Engages in professional development and district evaluation processes.
• Communicates with students, parents, and colleagues to support the PE program.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
