Job summary

Language & Literacy Academy for Learning in Winter Haven, FL seeks a full-time Elementary PE Coach to turn energy into impact and play into purpose. Working 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, you’ll design engaging lessons, supervise activities, and reinforce safety across gym, outdoors, and cafeteria as guided by the Polk County School Board calendar.

You’ll promote physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence while adapting instruction for diverse abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing movement and physical education lessons.
• Ability to adapt activities for multiple ability levels.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Commitment to student growth—physical, social, emotional.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment before class.
• Lead lessons on movement, fitness and teamwork.
• Supervise gym, cafeteria, outdoors.
• Ensure safety and enforce rules.
• Track student progress.
• Collaborate with staff on behavior programs.
