BECOMING ONE OF OUR ELEMENTARY PE COACHES

This full‑time position (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) offers competitive pay based on experience and a strong benefits package, including health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and short‑ and long‑term disability coverage.

DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS TEACHING JOB

As a coach, you will set up equipment, prepare engaging lessons, and guide students through activities that build physical skills, confidence, and teamwork. You will demonstrate techniques, ensure safety, adapt activities for different skill levels, and track student progress. In addition, you will supervise students in the cafeteria, outdoors, or during class, reinforcing expectations and supporting their growth.

THE TYPE OF TEACHER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Ability to set up equipment before class
• Create a safe and engaging environment that supports student development
• Prepare and implement lesson plans tailored to various abilities
• Establish and enforce rules of conduct
• Supervise students across multiple areas (gym, cafeteria, outdoors)
• Participate in school‑wide behavior programs and document student behavior
• Demonstrate physical skills and assist students during activities
• Teach and enforce safety procedures
• Assess student fitness levels

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of curriculum design, the ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles, and strong skills in delivering engaging lessons across varying ability levels.
