Job summary

Fantasy Springs Resort is seeking a customer-focused team member for our restaurant operations. The role emphasizes fast, friendly service to guests, proper station setup, and proactive guest assistance in a lively casino dining environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining service areas, restocking supplies, aiding servers with beverage service, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are followed throughout the dining rooms.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Food Workers Certificate (Food handler's card) required.
• Must understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be physically mobile and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to lift trays with food (30 lbs.) above shoulder level.
• Must be able to pull or push 50 lbs. (Tables and chairs as required).
• Able to tolerate chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, food servers and restaurant host/hostess.
• Adherence to schedule and attendance at all service staffs meeting.
• Ensure water service is provided to guests 1 to 2 minutes upon their arrival.
• Set up and maintain service stations, tables, and common areas in all dining rooms.
• Maintain par levels of operating supplies and restock from wash area/warehouse as needed.
• Polish and stock silverware, glassware and china; ensure service standards are met.
• Prepare for concerts and turns by ensuring sufficient silverware and china.
• Remove dirty dishes and transport to designated areas.
• Assist servers with beverages and guest needs as required.
• Monitor and resolve service issues for the outlet according to standards.
• Provide personalized service during guest interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas per health and safety standards.
• Recognize Diamond & Emerald players and ensure appropriate service.
• Know and promote current casino events and programs; guide guests to casino areas.
• Thank guests and invite them back; wish them luck in their play.
• Duties may be changed or expanded to meet business needs.
