Job summary

Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group in South Barrington, IL, is seeking a Busser/Runner to support our dining team and help create a warm, welcoming guest experience.

You will deliver dishes to tables, clear and reset, and assist servers and bartenders as needed, while keeping stations stocked and safe. This role requires energy, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner.
• Ensure that guest’s feel important and welcome in the restaurant.
• Deliver food to the appropriate table, announcing each dish.
• Pre-bus and clean tables.
• Assist servers and bartenders with service as needed.
• Stock server stations and the bar as needed.
• Ability to transition between runner and busser duties based upon service needs and/or guest needs.
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
