Job summary

Draft Kings Sports & Social Columbus is seeking a Barback to support the bar team in a fast-paced environment. You will perform basic prep, restock beer and liquor, change kegs, and keep the bar tidy while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications include food service experience, fluent English, the ability to lift up to 200 pounds, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to work well with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and general bar/nightclub operations.
• Fluent English required; other languages preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old or older depending on state regulations.
• Strong communication with guests, cooks, wait staff and supervisors.
• Reading and writing abilities used for taking orders and paperwork.
• Basic math skills used for transactions and inventory.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Show energetic, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
• Perform basic bar prep: refill ice, restock beer/liquor, garnish prep.
• Change empty kegs and move full kegs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bar; clean spills and take out trash.
• Organize bar and glassware.
• Clear and clean bar promptly.
• Multitask effectively across duties.
• Provide polite, professional customer service.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and guests.
• Complete all assigned side work.
