Grease Monkey #140 in Naperville, IL is hiring a Lube Technician to service and inspect the undercarriage during full-service oil changes. You will ensure correct gaskets, drain plugs, and oil filters are installed, and verify there are no leaks after service.

You’ll perform safety checks, use the Echo System, and assist with additional services as needed. A safety-conscious approach and attention to detail are essential for accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• Customer service and basic literacy required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with hand tools is preferred.
• Minimum 3 months of lube technician experience or supervised training.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, wear safety gear and keep area clean.
• Use Echo System to document work.
• Visually inspect undercarriage and document conditions.
• Replace oil filter and inspect gaskets, drain plugs, and oil seals.
• Check and fill gear boxes.
• Perform additional services (fuel filters, transmissions, differentials) when applicable.
• Assist with pressure and leak checks.
• Inspect belts, hoses, and related components and document issues.
• Lubricate chassis and install tamper seals on plugs.
• Assist with final safety and quality checks.
