Job summary

Wyoming Healthcare Center in New Richmond, WV is recruiting a Full Time Activities Assistant to join our team. You will work directly with residents, planning and facilitating activities to promote socialization and well-being.

The ideal candidate is energetic, patient and creative, with a high school diploma and basic computer skills. Daily Pay, PTO and robust benefit options are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Must possess an active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized activity care and services for residents.
• Functions as a team member within the activities department and an interdisciplinary team member for assigned units.
• Engages residents in socialization and community involvement, fostering positive experiences.
