Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain enterprise security controls protecting corporate infrastructure and user devices. You will partner with IT and engineering to ship risk-based solutions that secure data with minimal friction.

You will design and maintain security for macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile endpoints, review enterprise systems, and work across teams to blend security into broader initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering with enterprise endpoint focus.
• Proven ability to write production code supporting security.
• Experience shipping security projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Familiarity with endpoint security products like Cloudflare/Prisma Access/Zscaler.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for endpoints and devices.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems to protect productivity.
• Collaborate with partners to integrate endpoint and SaaS security into initiatives.
• Identify data exfiltration paths from AI agents and tooling on endpoints.
• Provide code review and guidance to engineers to raise security standards.
