Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design and maintain security controls protecting corporate infrastructure and devices. You will partner with IT and engineering to identify risks and ship tailored solutions that secure data without friction.

You will harden endpoints (macOS, Chromebooks, mobile), perform enterprise reviews, and collaborate across teams to embed security into engineering initiatives while addressing data exfiltration from AI tools on corporate devices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering, with ≥2 years securing macOS in an enterprise.
• Production code for security tooling and automations.
• Ability to ship security projects end-to-end with minimal direction in fast-moving environments.
• Familiarity with device trust and zero trust products (Cloudflare, Prisma Access, Zscaler).
• Controls for responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile endpoints, focusing on secure configurations, compliance, threat detection, and UX.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software enabling user productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate endpoint and SaaS security into broader initiatives.
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from local AI agents and developer tooling on endpoints.
• Provide technical guidance and code review support to engineers on the CorpSec team.
