Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a driven intern to contribute to endpoint security solutions for modern computing environments and to explore edge AI initiatives. You’ll work on prototypes, testing, and collaboration with software, security and product teams, while supporting AI-powered improvements in performance and user experience.

The role targets Master’s students in CS/SE/CE/ cybersecurity/ AI, enrolled full‑time, with US work authorization planned for 2027 and no sponsorship required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in a technical field and enrolled full time.
• Strong fundamentals in CS, software engineering, and security concepts.
• Able to obtain US work authorization in 2027 without sponsorship.
• Experience with Python and at least one of C++, C#, TypeScript is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test endpoint security software components.
• Support AI/ML initiatives on endpoint devices.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept apps.
• Analyze requirements and translate to software solutions.
• Assist debugging, testing, and documentation activities.
• Explore how AI enhances security, performance and UX.
• Collaborate with software engineering, security and product teams.
• Present findings to technical stakeholders.
