Qualifications

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Endpoint Security Engineer on a contract providing Network and Cybersecurity services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All team members will collaborate to support transport and cybersecurity IT services across multiple networks, security domains, and locations worldwide, including new facilities and building constructions to support the IC mission.

The ideal candidate will possess the skills and qualifications listed below and be capable of handling responsibilities independently and professionally.

1. Implement and apply technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attacks, damage, or unauthorized access.
2. Provide engineering and sustainment support for various endpoint security solutions.
3. Design system configurations, oversee system installation, and define, document, and enforce system standards to establish a secure computing environment.
4. Offer detailed guidance for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet current and future capacity needs.
5. Configure and install various security products utilizing Linux OS.
6. Collaborate with vendors and customers to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide security solutions supporting business and mission goals.
7. Assist in designing, analyzing, testing, and implementing secure architectures.
8. Oversee security infrastructure maintenance, configuration, and management, including policy management and database administration.
9. Manage security incident reporting, documentation, investigation, and develop corrective actions.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.

Degree and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 6 years of additional experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree. Total of 10 years of cybersecurity experience.

Required Certifications:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified (current)
• Must obtain a CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months of hire

Desired Certifications:

• CSSP Infrastructure Support certification
• Linux-related certifications

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity tools such as HBSS, Carbon Black, Microsoft ATA, Tanium
• Administration of applications in a Linux environment
• Experience with large-scale enterprise networks in dynamic environments
• Understanding of DoD architecture frameworks and strategic planning
• Ability to produce status reports for senior management
• Experience in security system design and evaluation

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Windows Active Directory and VMWare virtualization
