That's why we need you, a data specialist with the skills to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and development specialist on our team, you'll assess the DoW's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risk. You'll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you'll work on the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You'll work with the client to help them operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have
  • Experience in endpoint security or network security and hardening endpoints to mitigate risks
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and publishing policies and guidance
  • Experience developing briefings, talking points, and presentations for clients
  • Knowledge of the Department of War and its Components
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and principles
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) capabilities
  • Ability to track tasks and due dates, help keep a team on delivery schedule, balance multiple varied workstreams, and work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly via oral, written, and visual means
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity field and 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity or IT, or 9+ years of experience with cybersecurity or IT in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have
  • Experience in the DoW CIO, OSW, or a Military Command at the Pentagon
  • Experience serving in the US Armed Forces
  • Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)
  • Experience with Cisco Identify Service Engine or Forescout
  • Experience with Microsoft E5 or G5 suite such as MDE, Intune, Entra ID, and Purview
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
