Job summary

The Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) in Augusta, ME, is seeking an entry‑level IT professional to support vulnerability management, endpoint management, and software deployment for MaineIT Client Technologies.

The ideal candidate will have basic IT knowledge, strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and an interest in learning Intune and software deployment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and demonstrated end‑user IT support experience.
• Basic knowledge of IT concepts, operating systems, software applications, and endpoint management.
• Ability to learn Intune, troubleshoot deployments, and document work.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track software vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation.
• Deploy Microsoft Intune application updates, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Verify deployment status and resolve installation issues.
• Maintain records of vulnerability findings, deployments, and software licenses.
• Collaborate with teams to improve endpoint security.
