Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to design, deploy, and manage end-user computing devices across the organization. This role focuses on secure, compliant endpoints and lifecycle management, supporting business operations with reliable IT services.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of endpoint engineering experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, MDM, AD, and OS configurations, and a proven ability to train and collaborate with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of direct technical experience in endpoint engineering/ IT support.
• Experience with Microsoft/M365, iOS, Azure, MDM, PC workstations, AD and networking.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint deployment, OS config, patching and security.
• Ability to train others and create IT policy-compliant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage end-user computing devices across the organization.
• Configure and maintain endpoint security and compliance per IT policies.
• Lead OS deployment, patches, and software delivery across multiple platforms.
• Provide technical support and service delivery for endpoint-related issues.
• Deliver training to Technical Services team on endpoint deployment and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve complex issues.

This role ensures endpoint systems remain secure, compliant, reliable, and optimized to support business operations.Position ResponsibilitiesAttitude – Demonstrates great teamwork, shares information with others, responsive with all communications/deliverables, collaborates with the team to resolve open issues.Communication - Collaborate in the assessment, planning, communication and the implementation of processes.Service Delivery – Takes ownership of issues, ensures accuracy with deliverables, completes tasks according to timelines, demonstrates service recovery, and communicates in a consistent manner.Service Management – Tests, monitors, patches, application deployment and OS configuration for user endpoints governed by IT policies.Training - Provides training to Technical Services team for endpoint deployment and management to ensure quality, and operability of configurations.Issue Resolution - Resolves/escalates issues and collaborate with other teams if necessary.Support - Provides technical support in the assessment of, ITGC (Information Technology General Controls), responds to issues reported by user community and collaboration with IT teams.Efficiency - Proactively monitors endpoint environment to identify devices that are not compliant for remediation.Design - Contributes to the development of IT policies and procedures in areas of system access, Cybersecurity, change management, computer operations and system development.Maintenance - Demonstrates proficiency in competency on upkeep and patching of the operating systems and software delivery on multiple platforms.Knowledge - Demonstrates technical knowledge and best practices in the deployment of endpoint management and software delivery.Development - Implementation of operating systems standards and software delivery using guidelines provided by the IT policies, impacting all endpointsQualificationsLicense/Registration/CertificationA+ and/or Network + or equivalent certification or experienceEducationBachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experienceExperience5+ years years direct technical experience.
