Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join the Endpoint Security Engineering team within the Information Security Engineering Department. The Senior Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for the automation, maintenance, operations, and engineering of multiple endpoint security tools. Responsibilities:
  1. Automate Endpoint Security operational tasks, integrations, and control executions.
  2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Endpoint DLP, antivirus/antimalware, and other Cyber Security agent-based software on Windows desktops, as well as Windows and Unix servers.
  3. Apply patches and upgrades to clients, administrative tools, and utilities on a regular basis.
  4. Establish and maintain operational, configuration, and other process/procedures to ensure the effectiveness of new and existing detective and preventative configuration policies.
  5. Provide support to the Cyber Security Operations Center and Threat Detection Teams with recommendations and handling of their requests for changes, updates, and improvements to Endpoint Security policies.
  6. Support enhancements, integrations, proof of concepts, and consolidation of existing Endpoint Security Tools.
  7. Augment the production support team to ensure 24/7 coverage and operations. Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little or no advanced notice.
  8. Have an understanding of malware, threats, vulnerabilities, and the complete effect these could have in the environment.

Your Impact:

As a Sr Cyber Security Engineer, you will drive the development, engineering, and automation of our technical solutions related to Endpoint Security. You will build, develop, and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and vendors to formulate remediation solutions for issues related to Information Security.

Qualifications:
  1. Typically has 5-8 years of relevant experience in Endpoint Security and Automation.
  2. 3-5+ years of experience in administration of Endpoint Security tools, specifically DLP, and Antimalware/EDR tools.
  3. 3+ years of experience with scripting/automating operational tasks using Python, and Powershell, including SOAR automation.
  4. Must have experience working on Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering of DLP, EDR, Threat Intel tools, and other SaaS and on-premises Endpoint Security platforms.
  5. Needs to be organized and have the capability to multitask by working on multiple problems and tasks while seeing them through to closure.
  6. Must be able to effectively perform both independently and collaboratively as a strong team contributor.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $126,000 - $190,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity, and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
