Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine seeks a Research Faculty member to lead a rheumatic autoimmune diseases program. The candidate will work within the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology, hold an MD or MD/PhD, publish extensively, and pursue robust funding.

The rank will reflect accomplishments and a competitive recruiting package is available. Responsibilities include publishing, presenting at conferences, mentoring, and developing grant proposals to sustain a growing research

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD with a strong track record of high-level publications.
• Ongoing robust peer-reviewed research funding (NIH R01 or equivalent).
• Endowed professorship support and competitive recruiting package.

Responsibilities

• Publish research in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
• Present research at national and international conferences.
• Develop and maintain a national and international scholarly reputation.
• Mentor junior scientists, doctoral and postdoctoral students, medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and initiatives.
• Design and conduct research studies in rheumatic autoimmune diseases.
• Develop and write grant proposals to sustain the research program.
• Obtain and maintain NIH R01 or equivalent funding.
