University of Arizona seeks an Associate or Full Professor and Endowed Chair in Peptide Science to lead a high-impact research program and contribute to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. The role emphasizes collaboration across CBC and other university centers, with a proven funding track and leadership in peptide science.

The candidate will mentor students, engage in outreach, and help advance curricular development while upholding inclusive excellence and scholarly leadership

Formación

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
• Extensive publication history and a record of external research funding.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring students and guiding scholarly work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a vigorous and internationally recognized peptide science research program.
• Teach at graduate and undergraduate levels and contribute to curricular development.
• Mentor students in a respectful, effective manner.
• Participate in outreach and contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
• Develop innovative approaches to student engagement and collaboration with community and industry partners.
